Dr. Jun Xu is a Full Professor at Hunan University, China. He concurrently serves as a member of the Joint Committee on Structural Safety (JCSS) and a director of the Chinese Society of Vibration Engineering, among other professional affiliations. His research focuses on the reliability analysis of renewable energy structures. He has authored over 80 papers in prestigious journals and serves on the editorial boards of several academic publications. Dr. Xu has been recognized with numerous honors, including the "Three Peaks" Innovation Talent Award, Outstanding Youth of Hunan Province, and the Hunan Provincial Backbone Teacher Award.
